GoReact Expands International Market Presence With United Kingdom Outpost

GoReact, the leader in video-based assessment software, today announced a strategic initiative to grow its global presence. This initiative includes establishing a business development unit in the United Kingdom to expand reach throughout the UK, Europe and Scandinavia.

Since launching in 2011, GoReact has maintained a small group of sign language customers in international markets. With an increased need for video assessment over the past year in a variety of higher education programs beyond sign language, GoReact welcomed new customers in Austria, Germany, Scotland, England, Russia, Egypt and Turkey. GoReact is currently engaged in pilot projects in Algeria, Italy, Japan, Israel, India and Australia.

“Video assessment has become an essential part of the learning tech stack for higher education,” said Ken Meyers, president & CEO of GoReact. “More and more global institutions are using GoReact in programs like foreign language, communication and teacher education to develop and assess their students’ skills in a flexible, effective and engaging way.”

Recent new institutional partners with GoReact include the University of Vienna, University of Leipzig, Heriot-Watt University and Warwick Business School. Many global universities, particularly those with teacher education programs, are focusing on a fall implementation to facilitate remote observation and mentoring.

According to Vladimir Balakhonov, Lecturer of Interpretation at University of Leipzig, Germany, “GoReact was a breakthrough and a great opportunity to avoid pauses and quality decrease in my teaching [during shut downs for Covid]. Students were able to get all necessary feedback, and react on it, and also provide feedback for one another in the group in a convenient manner. Their feedback on GoReact was very positive.”
